Prasad is a copywriter turned ad-filmmaker. He has been working as an independent filmmaker with few advertising agencies and production houses in India for more than eight years. The recent campaign directed by him for Durex (the sexual hygiene brand) was awarded silver EFFIE at Goa 2016 Festival (IFFI) — the award was given for effectiveness of the campaign. The campaign has also crossed 10 million views on social media and was on the verge of getting aired on television. What makes Prasad different is his ability to replace superfluous production scales with effective storytelling and strong characterization. His eye would discern unnoticeable dramatic possibilities in a simple script and would turn it into an engaging piece of audio-visual content.
